# Work and Income Dental Grant

### How we can help

- **Up to $1,000 a year** – Work and Income may help with essential dental treatment, and it usually doesn't need to be paid back
- **What's covered** – Dentistry you need, including assessments and x-rays. Doesn't include cosmetic dentistry, routine check-ups or orthodontics
- **Repayable WINZ options** – If you need work over the $1,000 limit or are exploring options such as dentures, Work and Income offers repayable options. We can provide quotes for these too

**Community Services Card holders:** The WINZ dental grant is separate from the Community Services Card scheme, where you pay $40 towards a simple extraction of a painful tooth. Not sure which option is right for you? Get in touch—we’re here to help.
